Acerbis
Acerbis is a numerous winner of the most famous Compasso d'Oro award, IBD Awards, and is also on display in the permanent exhibition of the Victoria and Albert Museum of London.
The Acerbis Design factory was founded in 1870 by Mr. Benvenuto Acerbis near Bergamo, in northern Italy, and has been preserving its traditions for 4 generations in a row, using innovations in the field of furniture production. Throughout the years of its existence, the factory has introduced the latest developments and mechanisms into production: from the electrified production line in 1907 to the introduction of patented mechanisms that are still being developed today.
The factory's collection includes day zone interior items, tables, chairs, and high-tech solutions for storing audio and video systems in the TV area.
The factory started working on TV solutions in 1974, when it introduced the Life collection, which is still included in the current catalog. Acerbis were the first in the design world to use lighting in furniture, which they owe to the architect Roberto Monsani.
